Behind The Screams Podcast: What's New in 2021?

We recently celebrated the podcast's first Birthday which for us is a huge achievement. We have came a really long way over the past 12 months and have made many changes and improvements along the way. We do not intend on resting on our laurels and staying still.

We also recently hosted a live show on our YouTube channel detailing all of the changes that are coming to the show in 2021. Check our Twitter page for some of those updates but we shall detail them all here for your ease:

New permanent hosts - If you have listened to several of our episodes then you will already be familiar with regular guests Lucy and Lindsay. Well we are delighted to announce that at the end of the year they will be joining the show as permanent co-hosts along with myself. We really do feel that this will add a level of consistency to the show and having a permanent second and third voice on the show will really help to spark greater and more in-depth conversation. To check out what this is going to sound like check out our Autumn Bonus Series on The Boulet Brothers Dragula.

New shows - Our other regular guests Dave and Nico aren't going anywhere though. They will still be making sporadic appearances on the main show BUT we have two new shows coming. First of all Dave and myself will be hosting a This Month In Review style show (Title TBC) once a month, live on our YouTube channel. Conversely, Nico and myself will be hosting a monthly preview show, exclusively on Patreon for all subscribers.

Special Interviews - Whilst this is going to be released in December 2020 it is a major announcement for the show as we have two very exciting interviews to bring to you in December. I was delighted to be able to talk with Horror Director Harrison Smith (The Special, Camp Dread) which you be able to listen to on the 12th December. I also had the opportunity to talk with Emma Louise Webb (Host and BTS Horror Award Nominee). We hope over the course of 2021 we will be able to bring you some more interviews with people from the HorrorVerse.

We will still have all of our other Patreon shows (Non-Horror, Horrorble History and Mini-Reviews) with Nico hosting the majority with myself. Dave will also continue to host Spooky Saturdays on our YouTube channel every week.

We are extremely excited for this new chapter in the life of the Behind The Screams Podcast and hope all of you will continue to join us on this magical journey.

Thank You

Ian Forrest
